It seems that on T5440's with firmware v3.0.10.3 r57435 the below values aren't populated for all sensors.
Because of this, SCOM returns critical temperature errors for all temperature sensors without thresholds set.

I am presently testing the Oracle MP on one of my Oragle 10g servers that has 2 databases. I followed the Doc and created RunAS accounts and verified that they are able to run the commands provided in the doc. The Agent is discovering the DBs, Tables and Process performance metrics, however it is not populating the views for Oracle Databases, Instances, etc. as well as creating the health explorer tree of monitors for the databases/instances. It is also no alerting on any possible issues with either of the two DBs. What do you suggest I try to enable the proper monitors, etc.

Thanks in advanced for your help and I feel this is a greatly thought out MP. Can't wait to get it working properly.

Hi again, I have found some other problems, hostname -f and an openssl command (which you must have if you are not using this file).
Also, there is a security breach and doesn't matter if you are encoding/decoding, but this is not solve.
I atacched here the file for those who want some adventure. Hope to fix it soon.

Hi, I've just sent a patch for evaluation. Please check http://xsnmp.codeplex.com/SourceControl/list/patches and see if it works.
As it is only the source, you can have only the Unix Library imported as a sealed MP, and this as an open MP.

I can not make the discovery of the oracle, enabled the discovery and created the accounts.
I have read all the documentation and not working. to install just imported the MP's

Cisco device will send the trap with OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.43.2.0.1 even if you didn't changed the config (just checked the config with 'show run' command). I think this alerts (on show run command) is the false positives. I've created a 'fixed rule' with the expression filter that evaluates the 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.43.1.1.6.1.5 (ccmHistoryEventConfigDestination) field and generates the alert for the values of 3 or 4 only.

Hello,

when we upgraded our Data Domains we discovered that they have made changes too snmp. For example disk state is now at OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.19746.1.6.1.1.1.8 instead of .1.3.6.1.4.1.19746.1.6.1.1.1.7. Replica state has also changed it's OID one step and probably other as well. I've noticed these two since suddenly quite a few disks turned red in OpsMgr and then found out that .1.3.6.1.4.1.19746.1.6.1.1.1.7 now returns the size of the disk and not the state.

Data Domain version is now OS 4.9.2.0-222697
I've attached the latest mib-file.

The APC PX-HID devices were not covered under the APC or NetBotz MP. I have updated the APC MP to cover this device. The OID falls under APC, which is why I did not modify the NetBotz MP. I also corrected a misconfiguration that listed the HID device as a UPS.

There appears to be a bug in the Net-SNMP management pack for the xSNMP Suite v1.1.1E. SCOM raises an alert indicating that Zombie processes have exceeded the threshold. Our Linux admin routinely clears the types of processes and doesn't show any zombie processes at the time the alert was raised. These are ESX servers running RedHat Linux v3.5.0.

Hi,

The ErrorValueRegEx is not working correctly if you have a more recent firmware loaded on the management network card. At this moment all batteries are faulty even if they are fine according to the webpage inside the management card.
The default value is of the monitor is ([1-9]+), to make it also work on the newer firmwares it's needs to be (^[1-9]+)

First I need to say, “Great work on the xSNMP suite!”. All your labors are really appreciated.

I encountered an issue with one of the discoveries in the sealed xSNMP APC MP (reference MP Changes section in attachment). All of my devices with OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.3.2 (reference APC Devices section in attachment) are correctly detected as APC devices but aren’t further detect as UPS’s. They never appear in the APC UPS device state view, the UPS properties aren’t discovered and the UPS monitors aren't applied properly to the device/object (reference APC_Devices section in attachment). If the changes shown in (MP Changes section in attachment) are made, the devices are detected / discovered properly as UPS’s and the monitors are apply correctly. I tested the change with your unsealed MP successfully.

Hi Guys,

first of all: Thanks for the great xSNMP-Framework an the predefined MPs! I hope this place will be growing to a huge "snmp-device" MPs-Place!

I would like to share some Information about the Checkpoint-MP, yes i have some issues, maybe someone had this to and can help me out with that.
Check Point SPlat Devices state View is populated fine in the Folder Check Point SPlat Devices. Also in the StateView 'Devices' under the Folder xSNMP Devices.
1. Issue: The NetworInterfaces State View under the Folder xSNMP Devices is Populated fine too, but i don't see them in the NetworkInterfaces Stateview under the Check Point SPlat Devices Folder.
2. Issue: No vpn-1 and Webaccess is discovered on the devices. Only CP HA (which is correct) and SVN and CheckPointfirewall on the FW-Modules.
3. Issue: In the Performance-view i have the performance-indicator Called 'Firewall-1 Accepted packets' and The two rules (Collect xSNMP Check Point Firewall-1 Rejected Packets and Collect xSNMP Check Point Firewall-1 Dropped Packets) the other 2 counters (accepted and Logged Packets) don't show up.
4.Issue: I believe, that the Counter 'dropped' packets counts the packets marked as 'encrypted' in Firewall-1 Logviewer.

When the Systems were discovered the all had the Desktop PolicyServer show as red, which i could override.

Again, super cool stuff. Of course i enabled Checkpoint-SNMP and all that. The Systems are Checkpoint on an Regular (HP) server, so they are not the Appliances from CP, why this might happen? Can i help you with the snmp-walk on the enterprise-oid 2620 to solve the Problem?

Again: This stuff rocks. I bet i dig deeper into that by the time. And i bet that vnext (although the attempt to make progress in snmp-monitoring is there) will still lack lots of features in your suite.
