Release Notes

This download contains all management packs in version 1.0.4 BETA release of the Manage-X Management Packs for Oracle , with accompanying management pack guide and upgrade guide.

The manage-X Management Packs for Oracle (Unix) for Operations Manager 2007 implements monitoring of Oracle Database systems on UNIX/Linux servers running the Microsoft System Center Operations Manager Cross Platform Agent. As cross platform support is only available in System Center Operations Manager R2, the manage-X MP for Oracle is only supported in Operations Manager R2 environments. The management packs are completely native and require no additional software or components beyond the Operations Manager server and agent components.

Please note that while this pack may work for multiple versions of Oracle, some monitoring elements within the management pack guide are marked with specific version requirements (primarily Oracle 10g+).

Disclaimer: Since this is an open source BETA release, it may not have undergone the same amount of testing as a commercially released management pack. Please test thoroughly before implementation in a production environment.
